Interview Notes for Reviewers

How did you come up with the book?
I was working at my local election center as a ballot scanner. This was my second time in the role. There’s a hard no politics rule on the floor. You can’t give an impression of bias to your team or the observers. Even though it was close to the Presidential election, because of the no politics rule, everyone got along. It reminded me of the same long-standing rule we have in our family. It’s a simple rule that keeps us happy. Seeing this play out at work inspired me to write this book. The title ‘How to Talk Politics with Family and Friends’ came to me during our morning briefing. I immediately thought, Don’t, and started laughing. That evening, I had the eBook on Amazon. A few days later, I published the soft cover.
